Elizabeth started linocuts in 2004. She has been experimenting with a variety of textures that can be used in this medium to show movement and form in detail, but once again evoking her passion for her subject matter in a very figurative way. The technique that Elizabeth uses on lino is reminiscent of the fine lines and detail that is achieved with wood engraving. Her work is all produced at home on the kitchen table on winter days when the sculpture studio is too cold!
The prints are produced by hand using Chinese paper and are made are in strictly limited editions of 35 per image, numbered and signed by Elizabeth.
